Spring Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 17th from 2:30 PM – 8:00 PM (In Person) and Wednesday, March 18th from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM (Virtual).  Please note the conferences on Tuesday will be in person and the conferences on Wednesday will be virtual (link will be sent out for virtual conferences). Week of February 23rd, 2026

Reading

In reading this week we will be reading America the Beautiful (Poetry / Song) and In Our Country (Informational Text).  We will be discussing the genre characteristics of a poem and a song.  We will be working on the letter sound Z (Ziggy Zebra). The focus letter will be the letter Oo  (Ozzie Octopus).  Our reader this week will be Blue.  This week we will be working on the following words: get, hot, or, where, the, is and are.

Math

In math this week we will be working with 2-D and 3-D Shapes.  We will also be working on counting groups up to 10.  Also, we will be working on finding number partners up to 10.
