Reading
In reading this week we will be reading Places In My Community (Informational Text) and Map My Neighborhood (Informational Text). With the books this week we will be working on identifying characteristics of informational texts. We will be working on the letter sound I (Iggy Inchworm). The focus letter will be, the letter P. Our reader this week will be Let’s Go See Farm Animals. This week we will be working on the following words: an, has, it, we, see and go.

Math
In math we will be making sense of a problem involving the quantity 5. Adapting strategies to solve a related problem involving quantities and numbers to 5. We will also be classifying, counting, and comparing to make sense of information.
Let’s Find Out
Our Let’s Find Out this week will be What’s New, Autumn Animals? Children will understand how animals adapt to seasonal changes.
